Korean Culture Project

A New Chapter

새로운 여정의 시작

In Oct 2026, we’re reintroducing ourselves with a new name, a new logo, a new look, as well as a new website address – welcoming our next chapter as Korean Culture Project.

You may be wondering, “Why the change?” We’re still the same independent non-profit you’ve known since 2007 as Korean Culture Center NYC; we still have the same staff you know and love.  But our new name and look better reflect our unique identity and goals to share Korean culture, language, art, history, and stories with our ever-expanding community – not just here in New York City, but across the world.  We are excited to move into this next chapter with you.

Our project is to connect you to Korea through its culture, its language, and all of its beauty.  Projects are collaborative, multifaceted, diverse, impactful and transformative.  Whether it’s learning the Korean language through the classes we offer, reading and discussing Korean books, supporting Korean artists, exploring aspects of Korean history and culture through our newsletter, uplifting adoptees’ stories or just sharing a Korean meal on a Korean holiday, we can’t do any of it without you.

Woven into the petals of the mugunghwa flower that creates our new brandmark are the letters 코리안 컬처 which we stylize in hangeul using the “Konglish” for Korean Culture—another nod to our dream to build bridges between English and Korean speakers.
